I'm Bibi — the founder of baj., and a lawyer by day (someone has to keep the lights on).
baj. is my heart's work: a small Berlin label that gives vintage a second life. Each piece is found, taken apart, and rebuilt by hand — reworked into something that exists only once. No mass production. No two the same. Just craft, patience, and a quiet kind of care.
I wanted to make clothes the way I wish the world moved — slower, and with more intention. Against the noise of fast fashion and the pressure to always perform, baj. offers the opposite: fewer things, kept longer, made to mean something. The past and the present, sewn into a single garment.
This label comes from a personal place. I've lived through mental illness — clinics, therapy, the long and unlovely in-between. Healing hasn't been linear. baj. became part of mine: a way to make something when I felt invisible, and now a space for anyone who has felt the same. I share parts of that inner world in the Mental Sustainability Blog.
I believe what we wear is an extension of how we feel — it can protect us, express us, hold us. So baj. stands for softness, honesty, and self-expression, not constant reinvention. These aren't only clothes. They already carry a history, and they're ready for yours.
With every order, €5 goes to the Deutsche Depressionshilfe (German Depression Aid), supporting real, accessible mental health care. Because healing isn't only personal — it's something we build together.
Welcome to baj.
Wear what matters.
